Friday, June 29, 2007 Spending spree. . . !!Bought a watch. . . bought a pair of street soccer shoe. . . I'm just in time to do some shopping before the GST increase comes in in 2days' time. . . Nevertheless. . . it's still a big hole in my pocket. . . must try to scrimp and save until pay day comes. . . i'm just not very rich. . . I saw jerry on the way back to camp on sunday. . . We took the same bus to camp and spoke to each other on the way. . . we were good friends. . . i hope it's still so now. . . but somehow, after not seeing each other for some time, after so much things happened, there was a sense of awkwardness occasionally while we were talking. . . Clearly awared of what had happened now, i tried not to bring up the incident during our conversations. . . I asked about his life now, about how he is doing. . . and i found out, perhaps it isn't very good. . . to me. . . from the things he told me, it was obvious that he had changed. . . drinking every night when he's out of camp. . . doing things in camp that can land him with extra duties. . . He admitted that he's drinking to escape from things that he is facing when i asked. . . he gave me the feeling that he is really despair with his life. . . that it has loses some meanings. . . i know why. . . but i didn't know how to console, i didn't know the right things to say so that he can stop being like this. . . instead, simply i told him that he should know all these things that he is doing isn't healthy. . . i reminded him that he won't do these in the past. . . these are practically useless words. . . i know i would never understand how he is feeling, because i have never been through what he is through. . . nevertheless, i just hope someone could just walk him out of all these and bring him back to his normal self. . . |
